🚜 What You'll Do:

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise a dedicated team of up to 8 plant employees—coaching, guiding, and developing performance.
• Support recruitment, training, and corrective action processes in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
• Uphold company standards for safety, professionalism, and environmental stewardship.

Operations & Efficiency

• Coordinate production, receiving, and order fulfillment—including specialized batch liquid feed products.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive real, measurable efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, internal protocols, and quality standards for all product handling and blending.

Customer Service & Communication

• Act as a key customer contact, alongside the Plant Manager—ensuring responsive, accurate service.
• Maintain thorough records and documentation, especially for medicated feed products.
• Collaborate professionally with plant staff, management, and customers—delivering clear, respectful communication and actionable feedback.

Project Support & Compliance

• Assist with plant audits, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor plant performance and support implementation of both regional and company-wide initiatives.
• Enforce safety procedures, including chemical handling, confined space entry, and working at heights.

🧠 What You Bring:

• Experience:
• 3–5 years in a senior operator or lead role within agricultural liquids, feed mills, chemicals, or similar industries.
• Strong supervisory experience and a mechanical mindset.
• Education:
• BS degree preferred, but equivalent experience strongly considered.
• Technical Know-How:
• Understanding of mechanical systems, process equipment, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and safety protocols.
• Forklift certification and comfort working outdoors and at heights/in confined spaces.
• Communication & Detail Orientation:
• Strong documentation, reporting, and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused and solutions-driven.
• Software Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn and navigate plant-specific systems.

• Salary: $80K–$90K + 5% bonus
