General Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Inspire and lead a team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Craft and execute strategies to boost market share and drive revenue.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends to spot opportunities and steer product positioning.
  • Product Mastery: Keep up with industry movements and competitor activities, providing your team with essential training and support.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver forecasts and reports, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members to ensure their growth and performance.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in sales management, particularly in the On-Highway Truck, and Trailer industries, or similar fields.  Refrigeration a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 years in sales team leadership, with a track record of securing significant business deals.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Financial savvy, with a knack for setting and achieving financial goals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be willing to travel regularly.
