  • Lead and participate in impactful engineering projects that drive plant performance
  • Monitor daily production and translate processes into clear flow sheet representations
  • Design and specify plant process operations for efficiency and safety
  • Prepare proposals, engineering reports, cost estimates, and process documentation
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table—safer, smarter, and more cost-effective techniques
  • Manage engineering assignments within schedule and budget
  • Maintain state-of-the-art technical knowledge to keep the plant ahead of the curve
  • Collaborate across plants, departments, and even suppliers to share best practices
  • Provide technical guidance to process operators and mentor junior engineers
  • Solve complex troubleshooting challenges using your process expertise and creativity

🎯 What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, ABE, Mechanical, or related Engineering
  • 5-7 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of chemical unit operations and Process Safety Management (PSM)
  • Bonus points if you have experience with:
    • Corn Wet Milling or Food Manufacturing
    • Natural gas or steam tube dryers, rotary vacuum filters, dewatering presses, centrifugal separation
    • Pollution control devices like scrubbers, stacks, or RTOs
